The "guilt-by-association" smear tactic is the easiest and most common method used by opposing political campaigns to damage the public's perception of a candidate. Even raising the question of an unsavory association, whether real or perceived, can be devastating, and the candidate often never fully recovers. This "guilt-by-association" smear strategy is now being used on home schooling families.
Need a homeschool preschool curriculum? Have you thought about homeschooling your child – but aren’t sure you have what it takes to persevere? Homeschooling during the preschool ages is a great way to try everything out and see if it’s going to work for your family. Homeschooling preschool children also has many side benefits. It gives you something constructive to do during those long daytime hours while your husband is at work. And it will help you bond with your children in a way that nothing else will. Watching your preschooler learn and grow is a wonderful experience – and one that you and your child will both enjoy. You can purchase a great homeschool preschool curriculum that is all ready to go, if that’s what you’re interested in doing. Or, you can come up with activities on your own.
The Utah History Fair, Utah's affiliate of the National History Day program, turns kids into historians. It gets them involved in primary historical research and provides a series of competitions where they can present their findings. History Fair students can choose their own topic from any era of history. Based on their interests and abilities, they can also choose the method of presenting their information. There are four presentation categories: students may build an exhibit, write an historical paper, produce an audio-visual documentary, or create a dramatic performance. Participants can advance through a whole network of history fairs. Regional finalists go on to the State History Fair, and state finalists are invited to National History Day, the national history fair in Washington, D.C.
